A Message From Your Volunteer Coordinator

Well Happy New Year everyone!
I cannot begin the New Year without thanking a whole lot people from the Old Year. The Christmas Hamper program was accomplished again this year. Whether you were a volunteer, a sponsor, or both – my hat is off to you! I wanted to especially thank Barb and Lorri from the association office for all that they did to spearhead this effort this year. Good on ya ladies! Well done!
Looking ahead to this coming year, there a few key people we are looking for. If you see yourself on this list, please give me a call.
- Members for our Social committee. Do you enjoy having events such as Wine Tasting event, or our Fun Money Casino? To keep such options and others going, we need the infusion of some additional energy on the Social Committee. So come give us the benefit of what you have been thinking!
- With our AGM (Annual General Meeting ) coming up on April 11, we would love to know if you are thinking of joining our Board of Directors!.
- We need a Volunteer Coordinator also. This can be done by one person or a team oftwo, so let me know it this interests you.
I hope your goals or directions for the coming year bring you happiness and fulfillment. Remember, no wind blows in favour of the ship with no port of destination. Have a good one.
