Positivity Mural (Canvas)

Come volunteer to paint the Positivity Mural on May 6 at 11am! The Tom Baines students will be designing and painting murals with positive messages about community and inclusion on the fence around Westminster’s parking lot. Community members are invited to come and help paint the “canvas” part of the fence in preparation for the students. Westminster will be serving lunch to volunteers and the community.

 

A grant was received from the Calgary Foundation to build a Positivity Mural in

partnership with Tom Baines School and Edgemont Community Association.

Westminster Presbyterian Church has also supported the construction through the

Randy Jaggard Fund, which was created in Randy’s memory for projects that involve

youth and build community. There has also been financial support to purchase paint

from the Tom Baines Parent Association and the Edgemont Community Association.
